AVOID LMV REMOVAL COMPANY – Unprofessional, Destructive, and Incompetent Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (Zero stars if possible) In my 36 years of dealing with various businesses, I have never encountered a company as utterly disastrous as LMV Removal Company. Calling them a "professional" service is a blatant lie; they are a complete sham. Our experience with LMV has been nothing short of a nightmare. They didn’t just fail at their job; they actively caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. They managed to deface our brand-new home and, most devastatingly, they completely destroyed a sentimental wardrobe gifted to us by my late father-in-law. This wasn't just furniture; it was an irreplaceable family heirloom, handled with a reckless attitude and an appalling lack of care. The incompetence starts at the top and trickles down to every single unskilled staff member they employ. We have had over 20 different tradesmen working in our home recently, and not one of them caused a fraction of the stress, loss, and physical destruction that LMV did. If you value your belongings, your home, and your sanity, do not hire this company. They are clearly out of their depth when handling high-end furniture and lack the basic expertise required for a standard move. They didn't just move us; they ruined the entire experience of moving into our new home. I will be warning every friend, family member, and colleague to stay far away from this outfit. Avoid them at all costs. UPDATE **I sent a email with no response but yet a response was made on this review? Show the level of Cowboy removal company this is. NOT TO BE TRUSTED

It is past my pick up time and I have not had any correspondence from LMV. When I try to call them it just says the offices are closed… It is past my pick up time and I have not had any correspondence from LMV. When I try to call them it just says the offices are closed…

Choosing the right van size depends on several factors including the number of items being transported and their dimensions. Consider access points such as stairs or lifts which could affect loading efficiency. Additionally, assess parking availability at both locations along with any specific requirements like dismantling furniture or making extra stops during transit.
Planning a move can be daunting, but proper preparation can make the process smoother. Begin by packing smaller items well in advance. This not only helps you stay organised but also speeds up the loading process. Keep walkways clear to ensure easy access for everyone involved.
Parking is another essential consideration when arranging a move. Make sure to check parking availability at both your current location and your destination. If you’re moving into an apartment building or a location with controlled parking zones, confirm any necessary permits ahead of time.
Access issues can arise when dealing with narrow streets or busy roads. Consider how close the van can get to your property and whether there are any obstacles that could hinder loading. If stairs or lifts are involved at either end of the move, communicate this during booking to ensure that adequate assistance is available.
Lastly, separate fragile items from other belongings. Wrapping them carefully will help prevent damage during transit. Being ready before the scheduled arrival time will contribute to an efficient move.
