AVOID LMV REMOVAL COMPANY – Unprofessional, Destructive, and Incompetent Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (Zero stars if possible) In my 36 years of dealing with various businesses, I have never encountered a company as utterly disastrous as LMV Removal Company. Calling them a "professional" service is a blatant lie; they are a complete sham. Our experience with LMV has been nothing short of a nightmare. They didn’t just fail at their job; they actively caused thousands of pounds worth of damage. They managed to deface our brand-new home and, most devastatingly, they completely destroyed a sentimental wardrobe gifted to us by my late father-in-law. This wasn't just furniture; it was an irreplaceable family heirloom, handled with a reckless attitude and an appalling lack of care. The incompetence starts at the top and trickles down to every single unskilled staff member they employ. We have had over 20 different tradesmen working in our home recently, and not one of them caused a fraction of the stress, loss, and physical destruction that LMV did. If you value your belongings, your home, and your sanity, do not hire this company. They are clearly out of their depth when handling high-end furniture and lack the basic expertise required for a standard move. They didn't just move us; they ruined the entire experience of moving into our new home. I will be warning every friend, family member, and colleague to stay far away from this outfit. Avoid them at all costs. UPDATE **I sent a email with no response but yet a response was made on this review? Show the level of Cowboy removal company this is. NOT TO BE TRUSTED

It is past my pick up time and I have not had any correspondence from LMV. When I try to call them it just says the offices are closed… It is past my pick up time and I have not had any correspondence from LMV. When I try to call them it just says the offices are closed…

This option is perfect for various situations including small flat moves or student relocations. It’s also ideal for transporting furniture collections or single bulky items across town. Whether you are decluttering or facilitating an office move, this service provides flexible solutions tailored to your needs.
Choosing the right van size depends largely on the number of items you need to transport and their dimensions. Consider how easily items can be loaded based on parking availability and whether there are any stairs or lifts involved during the move. Dismantling larger pieces may also impact the overall requirements.
When planning your move in Hither, preparation is key to ensuring a smooth experience. Start by packing smaller items ahead of time to save on loading time. It's also wise to keep pathways clear to facilitate easy access for the team.
Before your booked date, check on parking options near your location. Areas may have restrictions or controlled parking zones that require advance notice or permits. Knowing where the van can park will prevent delays on moving day.
Consider any access challenges at your property. If you live in a flat without a lift or on a narrow street, communicate this when booking. This helps ensure the right vehicle is sent and that the crew is prepared for any stairs or tight corners.
On moving day itself, separate fragile items and keep them visible so they can be loaded carefully. Being ready before the scheduled time allows the team to work quickly and efficiently. For more information on available options, check out Van with driver in Hither.
