Last week, we helped a customer move house from London E20 to London SE3, covering a 10.4-mile route with ease. Sebastian, one of our experienced drivers, led the job with support from a second mover, both arriving with a large van to accommodate the full contents of a two-bedroom flat. I was charged £90 for an extra hour for the service (despite being quoted £40 per half hour). The timer for the service began 30 minutes before the... I was charged £90 for an extra hour for the service (despite being quoted £40 per half hour). The timer for the service began 30 minutes before the men arrived at the pick up location. I purposely hired 2 men to speed the process up - one was on their phone for much of the pick up and then contributed little to nothing to the drop off. I have been charged 3.5 hours for what is a pick up and drop of with an approx 1hr 20 drive in between. That means it has taken 2 men with a trolley, 2hrs 10 minutes to just do the pick up and drop off for 1 bedrooms worth of items all pre-packed. They purposely take their time to get more money
