I wasn't sure when I booked with these guys. There were a few probs initially (if you need to contact them, don't ring or email as you'll get no response, use the online contact form). Once resolved, the delivery was great on the day. Lots of automated texts to let me know they were on their way, they arrived in good time (6 hours to load up and get from NW London to Manchester) and they worked hard to get heavy items upstairs. Delivery drivers didn't speak much English but they did a good job.

The actual removal men were very good, I have no complaints with them. However, the service in general I have significant concerns with. They were 3 hours late because of an issue with the van, fine, these things happen. However the delay, avoidance and lying tactics used by the company to not pay the 20% compensation as listed on their website was ridiculous. First it was that the manager was in hospital and nothing could be agreed until he returned. Then it was that the manager had not read messages. Then they claimed that I had actually booked for the time they had arrived (even though they had the booking confirmation in front of them that clearly showed this was not the case). Eventually only once I went through the bank did they pay the compensation. They ignored every single email and gave a different story when I phoned. This took weeks to sort. Very very disappointed in the way the management and office staff acted, however the actual moving men were very good. On the whole I would not recommend

LMV were our knights in a shiny Luton Van, a huge shout out to Kacper & Han who efficient and respectful when packaging our belongings into the Van.... They also had the patients of a saint and empathy as we had delays to completion leaving and and subsequently them in limbo, however they were happy to support us with some over time and a last minute booking for a second day too. thank you!
