- very prompt realization, I think I placed the order on Monday and we could move on Wednesday
- it actually started an hour early, fortunately we were ready anyway ;-P
- Polish driver, so no vocabulary problems :)
- very efficient and quick without reaching "removal frenzy" border though
- cheap as chips, Pickfords quoted us 400 for pretty much the same service with more ceremony
- since I already mentioned a certain widely known removal company, I have to add a word about quoting system here: it's awesome! "van size" is quite possibly the simplest and most understandable way to size your move - Pickfords survey was so detailed and elaborate I actually ended up just asking them to send in the consultant
- No Problems approach to payment - my surety about having previously paid for the service on-line didn't result in any drama or any extra charges

Unfortunately, I had a disappointing experience with London Man Van. During the move, their team damaged one of my cabinets by dropping it. They then spent time attempting to repair it on site. I was later told this was a “goodwill gesture” and that they could not offer compensation. There was also an issue with my dining table. It became stuck in the lift because the team initially tried to move it vertically, despite it clearly needing to be transported horizontally. They attempted to dismantle it but were unable to do so. After spending significant time, they eventually moved it horizontally as originally required. During this process, my dining table was unnecessarily damaged. I reported the damage the following week. However, as the issue was not formally recorded before the team left, they declined compensation based on their policy. Very disappointing outcome.
